A giant billboard for Toyota’s “Reborn” campaign outside Shibuya Station, starring Kimura Takuya ( Battleship Yamato, 2046 ) and Beat Takeshi ( Brother, Zaitoichi ). This was taken around November last year.
In the commercials Kimura plays Oda Nobunaga, and Takeshi as Toyotomi Hideyoshi, both of them famous warlords in feudal Japan. Finding themselves reincarnated in 2010 modern day Japan, they go for a nice spin in a Toyota automobile.
I’m not entirely sure of the premise behind the concept ( perhaps someone who does can enlighten me ), but the overt anachronism does spring some interesting visuals. Check out the series of commercials below :

i hope in the final ad for this that Shingen Takeda shows up and all three of them try to destroy each other.

or at least conquer the car and then make new rules about how no one else can try to conquer the car in the manner that they did.
