As you might have noticed I post reviews of Japanese artbooks fairly often, and used to run an ebay store selling these books until August 2010, where I had to shut it down because I was unable to manage it anymore. These days I still sell the books I review, albeit via Amazon’s affiliate program.
Everytime you purchase an artbook from Amazon via a link found on my blog I earn a very small referral fee, which I can then use to leverage the cost of running this site, as well as buying more books for review. ( it’d take many many referrals to earn enough credits to buy just one book, I assure you, which is why I appreciate all the support I can get. )
Amazon provides excellent customer service, ships fast ( 3-5 days with expedited mail, with insurance and tracking included ), and best of all, books purchased are not subjected to Japan’s 5% service tax, so technically you are getting the lowest price, ie. lower than if you had picked up the same book in a store in Tokyo.
I plan to write an faq about ordering on Amazon Japan soon, in the mean time do drop me a mail if you have any questions on ordering. (It basically works the same way as amazon.com, and there’s also an english version you can change to on the top right hand corner of the site )
Below are some of the books that I have written reviews for on my blog, I will update this page again for a complete list of all the books that I have reviewed.
I want to say thank you if you have used my links for purchasing books, and if not, thank you anyway for visiting.
