I’ve put together here a small collection of VFX breakdowns that have been published recently, highlighting the superb work that these VFX houses ( ILM, ILP, Iloura, Image Engine ) have been churning out for some of the best VFX shots that we’re seeing in recent film and TV.

I’m particularly impressed by the small team from ILP ( Important Looking Pirates ), especially their photorealistic CG Great White Shark and ocean environment renders that they created for the film The Shallows.
