Shortly after the release of Spider-Man : Across the Spider-Verse in early June, the many talented concept artists who worked on the film ( known collectively as The Art Department ) started sharing their art work on social networking sites like twitter. On Across The Spider-Verse, the umbrella term that we used to describe all the different kinds of art created ( character/props/env design / color keys / production design ) is Visual Development; or visdev/vizdev in short.
