After visiting Katsuya Terada’s ‘It Came From Outer Space’ (宇宙から来た!) art exhibition just a few days ago, I was once again back in the Jingumae/Omotesando area, this time to visit the store of Terada’s creative contemporary, the amazing artist known only as Rockin’ Jellybean.
I’ve been a big fan ever since discovering his work a good many years ago, so this time I made sure to put down a visit to his store ‘Erostica’ on my Tokyo itinerary.

The staff at the store was very generous and allowed me to take pictures, and it was packed with an assortment of Rockin’ Jellybean merchandize ranging from posters, T-shirts and apparel, stickers and much more.

Sadly my very limited spending power only allowed me to pick up one poster (image above) that I particularly fancied as well as (image below) the catalog book ‘Horror, Sex And Violence’ ( read my review here ). I certainly hope to be able to purchase more posters during my next visit to the store.

Anyhow, if you’re ever visiting Tokyo, I highly recommend taking a stroll around the Jingumae/Omotesando area, the backstreets are just packed with quaint little stores like Erostica and makes for a really interesting place to explore.
