Horror, Sex And Violence was an exhibition and series of events to celebrate the 20th career anniversary Japanese adult/erotic art illustrator Rockin’ Jellybean. This booklet is part of the celebrations and collects a series of the artist’s fake sexploitation movie posters.

I picked up this book at the artist’s store Erostica (image below) located in Jingumae during my 2025 spring trip to Tokyo. I’ll write more about the store itself in a later post.

I’m a big fan of Rockin’ Jellybean’s art and to date he has only published one dedicated art book ( and a few collabs with Katsuya Terada and Hajime Sorayama ), so I’m always on the look-out for ways to collect more of his art.

If you’re not offended by the explicit and overtly provocative nature of his subject matter, Rockin’ Jellybean’s art displays a very highly level of technical proficiency, complimented by killer composition and excellent use of typography and graphic design. In short, tastefully illustrated pornography.

Availability – Unfortunately this book is not sold on Amazon Japan ( yet ) and can only be purchased through the Erostica website, although there is no information pertaining to international shipping.

I do hope these art work will eventually be collected in a bigger print size book, preferably hardcover just like The Birth Of Rockin’ Jellybean art book. I also recommend the large print format collaboration art books he has done with Katsuya Terada and Hajime Sorayama.
