Shigenori Soejima is the character designer behind the highly successful Persona game series, published by Atlus. This book covers art work by the artist from 2004-2010 and focuses mostly on content from Persona.

(above left) This was the illustration that first caught my eye and bought my attention to the artist’s work. The clean and simple line-work, combined with a somewhat unconventional color palette made his work distinctive.

Soejima-san was also the character designer for the game Catherine –  an illustration from the game was used for the Heroes & Heroines Character Design Art Book.

The book is 95% art work with an interview (in Japanese) with the director at the end.
