I’ve been a big fan of director Gareth Edwards from the time I saw his first film Monsters (2010), and since then he has gone on to make such fantastic movies like Godzilla (2014) and Rogue One (2016).

As a visual effects artist himself, one of the biggest hallmarks of Gareth’s films are the stunning visuals, and I was certainly not disappointed with the amazing world building he has done for his latest epic sci-fi film The Creator. This hardcover volume covers extensively the stunning concept art created to build this sprawling futuristic world, with a big focus on the hardware; vehicles, jet-copters, gargantuan tanks, the weaponized space station NOMAD and much more.

I’m going to have to re-visit this film quite a few more times just to fully appreciate all the amazing work that the filmmakers have put in to realize this epic; this art book is a great companion to immerse further in the world of The Creator through the huge collection of splendid concept art.
