Many of the art work featured are strikingly similar in style to Fumetti ( Italian pulp comics ), in particular the work of artists like Emanuele Taglietti and Alessandro Biffignandi. The work of american painter Robert E.McGinnis also comes to mind.

An excellent primer and introduction to Spanish comic book art, in particular the horror genre. Even if you have little interest in the history or scholarly aspect of these comics, the huge depository of superb art work is still worth the price of the book. Highly Recommended.

……I have nothing else to say besides they are a little too strikingly complete in 3-dimensional quality at the same time equally opaque in suggestive content. Like I was looking up psycho-thrillers recently out of interest, I wonder if such graphic imageries does in fact indicate the fun of complexities within their plots. … Of course that would differ from YA novels like what Taiyo Matsumoto or style from that of Inouye Toshiyuki? It’s as if I’m comparing something of an alien scientific machine versus a traditional tool I’ve been attached to as a kid, if that makes sense lol.
