KYMG:2 is the follow up to Japanese illustrator Kozaki Yusuke’s earlier art book titled KYMG. ( read full review here ) While the caliber of art work in his first book was already great to begin with, KYMG:2 shows a marked improvement in his skill level and the quality of illustrations are definitely up a notch.

Some of the book contents include art work for No More Heroes 2, Fire Emblem Awakening, and some pieces he did for the comic Gantz. ( see below ). There’s also an appendix with thumbnail images at the end of the book that you can use to identify each art work.

(above left ) One of my favourite pieces in the book. It was also showcased in Quarterly Pixiv Volume 1.

There’s lots to like in here, and I look forward to more art books from this great artist in the near future. Highly recommended.
