Kozaki Yusuke is a Japanese illustrator/concept artist whose works include games like No More Heroes, Fire Emblem : Awakening and the Gonzo released anime Speed Grapher. KYMG is his 2nd art book ( preceded by Shutter Kill ) featuring artwork from Karasuma Kyoko Casefiles, No More Heroes, Speed Grapher, and more. Recently he has also released KYMG2.
The book launch also included an art exhibition held at Pixiv Zingaro in Nakano Broadway, a popular venue for manga artists to showcase their work. During my last visit Guilty Crown’s art exhibition was on.
Yusuke-san’s style of illustration bears some resemblence to another Japanese illustrator Kouji Ogata, who was the character designer for Boogie Pop Phantom and the animated film Origin – Spirits Of The Past (Giniro No Kami No Agito). He has some great art work in his out of print book Boogie Pop And Others.
I feel Yusuke-san’s quality of artwork has moved on to an even higher level in KYMG2 – I’ll post a review of the book in the coming weeks.

Kind of like the way the characters drawn – wish that would be used in an animation, because too often I’m not particularly impressed with character designs in animated films.
