“Red Box” is a collection of art work from the anime series “Guilty Crown”, illustrated by the artist Redjuice. The book compiles illustrations from the period 2007-2013 and contains about 140 pieces of art work in total, including those from Beatless, Egoist, Kokoro, Genesis, Lord Of Vermilion, Racing Miku and more.

(above) The visual influences of Evangelion is unmistakable, although Redjuice does incorporate some interesting designs of his own and his quality of art work is impressive.

(above & below) This curious robot from the anime was on display at a Guilty Crown art exhibition in Nakano Broadway some years back. Most, if not all the art work I saw in the exhibition can be found in this book.

(above) Some illustrations of Hatsune Miku can also be found near the end of the book.

A very substantial collection of beautiful illustrations by Redjuice. The book is heavy to the feel and the paper quality is thick and durable, with crisp reproductions of the art work. A B2 sized poster featuring the cover art is also included. Recommended.
