Here’s a first look at the box design for the upcoming Freedom Blu-ray dvd boxset to be released in November. Sweet !
The 7 episodes from the series will be spread between 4 discs, with extras including The Prologue, a completely new short episode created specially for this boxset, interviews with the staff, footage from the release of Freedom in USA, and more. There’s also a Freedom comic book, I reckon drawn by either character designer Sajiki-san or Gundam manga artist Sono-san, who also painted all the Freedom dvd covers.
Quite amazingly enough all episodes come with english and french subtitles, with 2 selectable audio tracks, Japanese and english. This is really quite rare for domestic Japanese anime dvd releases.
Now that I’m no longer working for Sunrise there’s no chance they’ll send a box my way, so I’ll have to buy one myself I guess. I’ll post more pictures and details about the discs’ contents when I get my hands on it.

I used to own episodes 1-5 on HD DVD, and I can tell you this series looks beautiful in high definition!
I would really like to know more about it …so I intend to get it …I’ve just got the DVD player and the whole episodes can cost more than the whole collection in Blu-ray itself. Besides, the Blu-ray collection has relevant EXTRA info like:
