Godzilla illustrations is a sumptuous collection of art work featuring the King Of Monsters, painted by veteran Japanese illustrator Yuji Kaida. I first introduced his work in this older issue of Sousakuzine.
Familiar Kaiju foes (and sometimes allies) of Godzilla are also showcased, like Biollante, King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Mothra and many more.
A bonanza of nostalgic Godzilla art, definitely worth checking out for fans of the Kaiju genre.
I also highly recommend the artist’s gorgeously illustrated Gundam art book, as well as Narita Toru’s spectacular collection of Ultraman kaiju art.

BTW, about that WKW edition by Rizzoli – I’ve bought it and read it. It’s pretty good, interviews are perfect. Maybe there is too many collage photos and spreads for my art-book-taste but it’s well worth purchase. Must have for WKW fans.
