Just a few random photographs of the National Gallery museum in Singapore which I visited earlier this spring. The museum is housed in the former Supreme Court building of Singapore, which dates back to colonial times and was built in 1937. As a museum, it now oversees the world’s largest public collection of Singaporean and regional art of the Eastern world, specifically of Southeast Asia, with a collection of more than 9,000 items.
I love the architecture of the building and almost always visit the museum every time when I’m back in Singapore to catch up on any good art exhibitions, like this Chua Mia Tee retrospective in 2022.

Because of it’s unique and grand architecture, the museum was also used as one of the locations in the HBO sci-fi series Westworld (S3). Check it out in this video below ( around the 0:45 second mark ) –
If you’re ever visiting Singapore and love art museums as I do, definitely check out the National Gallery.
