I’ve just returned from a 2 week trip in Japan, traveling around Tokyo and Tottori with my good friends Takeshi and Kojima. Tokyo’s summer is a lot hotter than I remember, although I also had more than my fair share of rain dumped on me when Typhoon No. 9 passed over Japan. Rain or shine however, the song of the cicadas was ubiquitous, a signature sound of summer in Japan, something I miss quite a bit.

I’m just starting to edit the photographs I’ve taken, and I’ve also got quite a big haul of art books to go through for reviews. Pictures and books reviews will be streaming in over the next few weeks.
