Yap Kunrong – Concept Artist/Illustrator

Yap Kunrong ( or Krypt, his online handle ) is a Singaporean concept artist/illustrator now based in Tokyo, Japan. He was awarded the Singapore National Arts Council (NAC) Takashimaya Arts Scholarship in 2008 to pursue a 2 year digital art course of his liking in Tokyo, and was also the winner of the Concept Art Award in the recent Steampunk Challenge organized by CGSociety, with the entry “The Legend of Yamato”. Kunrong has done creative work for studios like Imaginary Friends (IFS, Singapore ), WildFire LLC, Phoenix Interactive, Stone Arch Books, Fantasy Flight Games, and is always on the lookout for fresh and challenging projects.
