Just last week Sony Interactive Entertainment and Guerrilla Games revealed almost 15 minutes of gameplay and cinematics from their upcoming title Horizon Forbidden West for PS5, the sequel to the highly acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn from 2017. Check it out below –
Horizon Zero Dawn is quite possibly my favorite PS4 game of all times, with exemplary quality in it’s storytelling and narrative, game-play, visual design and soundtrack, which is why I am hugely excited for Horizon Forbidden West. To add to that, the game is utilizing the Decima game engine, which has a proven track record of generating some of the most stunning CG environments as previously seen in Kojima Studio’s Death Stranding.
I highly recommend checking out the splendid concept art of Horizon Zero Dawn from my review of the official art book ( pictured below ), and I cannot wait for Forbidden West to arrive on PS5 later this year.

I am eagerly awaiting this game. So glad I received a PS5 as a gift because it’s going to look amazing on that console. Right now, I’m replaying HZD on the PS5 and I agree–it’s not just one of the best games on the PS4, it’s probably one of the best games ever made.

Marc – You got PS5 as a gift ?! I’m so envious haha. There’s still no stock in Canada and I dunno when I can get a unit. 😛
