Horizon Forbidden West, the much anticipated sequel to Guerrilla Games’ highly acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn (2017) was released earlier this week on Sony’s Playstation 5 platform, much to the delight of millions of fans all over the world, myself included. I’ve only just started on the game earlier this weekend, and the sheer scope and scale of the beautiful world that Guerrilla Games have created is remarkably breathtaking. Forbidden West is powered by the Decima game engine, which was also used for Death Stranding, and I’m sure we can agree that was a stunning looking game as well.

I am also eagerly awaiting the eventual art book release for the game ( check out the one for Horizon Zero Dawn ), which I am sure will blow me away with all the spectacular concept art created for Forbidden West. In the mean time, I’m going to dive back into the game !
