Freedom Nissin Cup Noodles vending machine

Freedom Nissin Cup Noodle vending machines, decorated with poster designs from the latest ad campaign.

Curiously enough, these vending machines don’t diss out piping hot Nissin cup noodles, but rather just drinks. What’s even odder is that these machines are only found in colleges and Universities and no where else. Perhaps its just a very demographically specific campaign aimed at students, but why not make it available everywhere ? Go figure.

Hmm… May I ask what type of drinks are hidden in those mysterious ‘cups’?

Seems like coffee and it’s related cousins. And it’s 30 yen cheaper!

Would love to have one of these machines here!

The Sojourner – I think they serve coffee and a few other regular beverages I surmise, I’ve yet to actually see one in person, but I won’t mind having a complete collection of those cups.

Some days ago I went to Milan, and I bought some Cup Noodles! I never ate them, I liked them!!

But why don’t we have more vending machinese in Singapore? I remember there used to be one weird little shop in Parkway Parade, made up of vending machines.
