Now who won’t pay good money to see Jason Statham punch a kaiju great white shark in the face ?! The trailer for the sequel to the first MEG movie (2018) was released recently, check it out below –

The first film made a very hearty 530 million on a budget of about 180 million, so it makes sense that the filmmakers would be back for 2nds. I have a particular interest in the film also because I worked on the visual effects for the first movie, and although it was a very technically challenging project ( water simulation is tough and also computationally expensive ), I had fun and the movie is really entertaining too.
