Get ready for more stunning background art from anime director Shinkai Makoto’s upcoming film, titled Your Name ( 君の名は。). Check out some screencaps and the trailer further below.

(above) The NTT Docomo building, one of the more easily recognizable skyscrapers in Shinjuku, Tokyo. This building was featured prominently in the director’s last film, Garden Of Words.

Thanks for posting this. I had no idea this was coming. Stunning as always. Having just been in Shinjuku in October, I feel even more anxious to see this film.

I hope he has Tenmon collaborate with him again on the score.
