Tokyo Architectural Heritage Guide (下町の名建築さんぽ) is a sumptuous sketchbook filled with delightful and skillfully drawn illustrations of quaint old heritage architecture spread across 17 neighborhoods in central Tokyo, from bustling Asakura to Kanda, Nihombashi and more. The subjects are not limited to just stores and/or buildings but other interesting structures like bridges, underground malls, rivers and parks, all carefully noted on several maps included in the book.

The book is written and illustrated by veteran architect/illustrator/writer Kenji Oshima (大島 健二), who chose and identified interesting and noteworthy heritage architecture, buildings and shops situated within a 5 kilometers radius of his own residence in Asakusa. Each illustration is accompanied by additional information on the architecture as well as a line drawing with added captions.
