Let’s just get this out of the way first – I still don’t quite understand much of what happened in Christopher Nolan’s mindbending sci-fi film Tenet. I mean, I think I can grasp the basic premise of the story, but the details and nuances of the complex narrative are still quite murky to me.
I think this beautiful coffee table book can help shed some light though; The Secrets of Tenet: Inside Christopher Nolan’s Quantum Cold War explores the art/making of the film as Christopher Nolan himself and a range of other key collaborators like producer Emma Thomas and production designer Nathan Crowley guide us through the creation of Tenet through a combination of high quality on-set production photographs, storyboards for the numerous huge action sequences, concept art pieces, costume design sketches and more.
I’m fairly confident a thorough read of the book will provide me with many more insights and tidbits that will help me piece together the story and increase my enjoyment of the film even more, which I most certainly look forward to re-visit again soon on the 4K UHD blu-ray. Christopher Nolan is a visionary director and none of his films have disappointed thus far, and this book is a great companion to the film. Recommended.

Maybe I should give this a look. I liked TENET, although I will need to give it a few re-watches. Visually, the film is fantastic, and John David Washington continues to show that yep, he is his father’s son because he is one hell of a great actor.

Marc – Same here, I definitely want to re-watch the film quite a few more times just to full appreciate the visual brilliance and also to understand the story better.
