Takayuki Takeya is a renowned Japanese character/creature sculptor lending his superb sculpting and design skills to a wide gamut of media including feature film, video games, figures/toys and more.

This art book is a showcase of some of his latest creations for films like Hideaki Anno’s Shin Godzilla, Attack On Titan, Seirei No Moribito, Nausicaa’s God Warrior Exhibition as well as other personal work.

These Ohmu and giant insect sculpts from Miyazaki Hayao’s Nausicaa are just so delightfully detailed.

Takayuki Takeya is one of the most exciting auteurs working in the Japanese film/games/toys industry right now, and I cannot wait to see what project he lends his artistry to next. This art book is a superb collection of his sculptors and comes highly recommended.
