Imaginary Architecture Illustrations (名建築の空想イラスト図鑑) is a collection of architectural art work by renowned anime background artists and illustrators. The impressive structures and buildings featured in the book are based on imagination, but clearly inspired by real life, famous landmarks found across the world.
Some of the background artists featured include Yamamoto Nizo ( Castle In The Sky, Mononoke Hime and The Girl Who leapt through Time ), Mizutani Toshiharu ( Akira, Yuri On Ice ), Nakamura Gouki ( Short Peace, Steamboy ) and Mateusz Urbanowicz ( Your Name ).
