Warning : Spoiler alert for those who haven’t seen the film.

Zack Snyder’s Batman v Superman : Dawn Of Justice pits two of DC Comic’s most iconic characters against each other in one of the most massive, high spectacle films of 2016. This art book explores the art and making of the movie with a good mix of concept art sketches and illustrations, including costume and set designs, weapons, vehicles, characters and more spread across 160 pages.

A sizeable portion of the book is dedicated to Batman, and reasonably so because of his numerous costumes and weapons, the armored suit, Batmobile, Batwing, the Batcave as well as the dream sequence.

(above & below) Curiously enough only 2 pages of Doomsday is featured, something I find puzzling because he’s one of the main plot points in the film and I’m sure a fair bit of concept design work must have gone into the development of his look.

In summary, a decent art book for the highly polemic film, although I wish there were more content on Wonder Woman and Doomsday; the sections covering Batman is to me the best part of the book.
