The Art Of Mad Max Fury Road takes a comprehensive look behind the visual making of the film, with a generous serving of production stills, concept art, illustrations and storyboards and more.
The chapters ( see image further below ) are categorized mainly by characters, props/vehicles, sequences and follows the chronological order of the film.
Browsing through the book I see quite a bit of visual homages to Moebius’s comics, as well as touches of Terry Gilliam here and there, both good things.
An easy recommendation for one of my favourite films of the year – read this book and then watch the film again ( and again ) for a much richer experience.

must get this book.
yeah i should watch Mad Max again IN THEATRES. it really is the only film i can think of wanting to watch again in theatres, usually i can wait for the dvd/bluray. George Miller is quite the revisionist when it comes to the theatre experience. he really maximized that big screen big sound experience like no other.plus the movie reinvigorated my love for action films.
