Issue number 218 ( June 2018 ) of the Japanese magazine Illustration is a special feature on the famed video games designer Akihiko Yoshida, whose long list of amazing credits include work on titles like Final Fantasy XIV : Heavensward, Final Fantasy XIV Eorzea, Bravely Default, Tactics Ogre, NieR : Automata and many more.

A good chunk of the magazine is dedicated to his work ( 48 pages ) and includes a selection of his colored illustrations, character design sketches as well as an interview ( in Japanese only ).

(above right) Akihiko-san was one of the many incredible artists that paid homage to the manga work of Otomo Katsuhiro in his Tribute Art book; his submission piece is one on Domu.

(above) The magazine also features art work from Little Thunder as well as an interview with the concept artist Kouji Tajima about his work on the live-action adaptation of Inuyashiki ( below ).
