After much anticipation the Blu-ray for Star Wars has finally arrived – here’s a look at the contents and art work of the box packaging.
Both the outer slip cover and the disc case are made of thick, sturdy cardboard and there no trace of any plastic in the packaging except the blu-ray discs themselves.
With so much content spanning the 9 discs, I’m going to take my good time going through all the films and the extras, which I reckon will take quite a while indeed. No rush.

I heard this bluray has some changes that outraged fans of the original release, including Darth VaderΒ΄s scream in Return of the Jedi.
I wonder if you heard about it or if you can confirm about this and other changes….
No rush… π

In that character art on the last pages, it makes sense that the most important characters would be in the center, with the supporting or minor characters in the corners.
So Jar Jar, boy Anakin, a Clone Trooper, Tarkin, and a Sandperson are more important and iconic characters to Star Wars than Luke, Leia, Han, Yoda, and Chewie, who are unceremoniously shoved into the upper right corner. Someone didn’t think this out properly.
