Ryu Oyama is a modeler and character sculptor working in the Japanese film/toys/games industry, with a prolific portfolio covering franchises like Monster Hunter, Ultraman, Knights Of Sidonia, Berserk, Dance Of Swords and more.

This book features a gallery of his best sculpts and models as well as step by step instructional tutorials on how to model with his techniques.

A great showcase of the artist’s works and sculpting techniques. The book is in Japanese but the many images found in the instructional section should still be helping for those who might want to learn a technique or two.
