A rusty old bus that has been abandoned in the forest suddenly sprouts arms, legs and a tail to become the Busasaurus ! What adventures await as it wades into the city at night ?

Busasaurus is a children’s illustrated picture book illustrated by the manga artist Daisuke Igarashi, who bought us the amazing Children Of The Sea comic which has been adapted into an anime film in 2019 by Studio 4C.

The picture book is meant for children so it’s light on words with mostly hiragana writing, and simply allow just the lovely illustrations to tell the story.

I’ve always been a big fan of Daisuke Igarashi’s watercolor illustrations ( check out his stunning art book Of Seamonsters And Souls ) so any opportunity to collect his art work is welcome for me. Recommended.
