This is the full collection of storyboards used during the production of Michael Aria’s Tekkon Kinkreet anime film, based on the manga by Matsumoto Taiyo. This book is a STUDIO 4℃ crowded funded project, in celebration of the film’s 10th anniversary – also check out the characters book.

The drawings for the storyboards aren’t as detailed and beautiful as we’ve come to expect from seeing Miyazaki’s storyboards, but those qualities aren’t necessarily prerequisites for good storyboarding; these boards are still excellent material for studying/referencing movement, layout, framing and composition. Recommended !
