Sony Entertainment has just released the 2nd trailer for the upcoming Marvel animated feature film Spiderman – Into The Spiderverse. Check it out below –
With the film due for release on Christmas we are now into our final leg of work at Sony Imageworks, and for me that means lighting and compositing shots like the wind for the next 8 weeks or so. It’s tiring, but I’m positive the end results will be worth it.
I’m also looking forward to the Art Of book that will be released in December, with plenty of mind-blowing concept art work that really informed the look of the film.

Can’t wait to see this and get the art book. Really like how Sony Animation is cranking out some amazing work and leading there own path.

Looks like it’s gonna be a hit. The clip shown at the end of Venom relaly sold it to me.

I absolutely -loved- the look of this film in the trailer and post-venom clip. Such a great aesthetic, the comic book dot & cross hatching shader or post-processing are cool and the colour/light looked beautiful. Good luck with your crunch!
