Tokyo Cityscape - From Shibuya To Shinjuku

Some pictures of my recent time in Tokyo as I took a leisurely walk from Shibuya to Shinjuku. A typhoon had just passed the city and the air was cool and fresh, a nice break from the sweltering heat of Tokyo’s summer.

(above) Godzilla peeks out from the midst of Kabukicho near the JR East exit, where the relatively new Toho cinema is located.
(below) Shops lining Shinjuku’s Omoide Yokocho ( Memory Lane ), a network of narrow backalleys serving Yakitoris and other delicious food.
