Nordic Tales is an illustrated story book by Japanese artist Junaida, based on the tales of three famous Northern European writers Tove Jannson, Selma Lagerlof and H.C Anderson. I first chanced upon the artist’s beautiful illustrations in his other art book Ihatovo.

Junaida’s striking, yet gentle watercolors are just so soothing to look at. Highly recommended.
