I’m not a toys or figures collecting kind of person, but I’m such a big fan of the Horizon Zero Dawn playstation game & the recently released sequel Horizon Forbidden West that this LEGO set featuring the most iconic machine in the series ( Tallneck ) has definitely piqued my interest.

The Tallneck is a giant, non-hostile machine built for communication and gives Aloy ( the protagonist in the game ) the lay of the land once it is overridden. (image below) A concept art piece of the Tallneck from the Horizon Zero Dawn art book.

At the time of writing this article the Tallneck LEGO set seems to be sold out completely, but I’m sure it will be back on account of the huge demand. If I ever save up some spare cash, I might just pull the trigger one day…

I am also eagerly awaiting the eventual art book release for the game ( check out the one for Horizon Zero Dawn ), which I am sure will blow me away with all the spectacular concept art created for Forbidden West. In the mean time, I’m going to dive back into the game !
