A little while back I posted this article on “One Thousand Years Of Memento”, a retrospective exhibition showcasing the illustration works of the late animation director Kon Satoshi ( of Paprika, Tokyo Godfathers fame ).
A member of Konstoneinc, the official site of the late director has graciously posted a 13 minutes video of the exhibition. Enjoy :
Its a pity the exhibition was only held for a very brief 2 weeks – I think the organizers should really consider setting it up as a permanent exhibition where fans of Kon Satoshi from around the world can come to admire his work. It’s a real shame to have all those beautiful illustrations sit idly in a warehouse somewhere, when they can be a great source of inspiration for many a fan.

Zack – As will I. I’m really hoping they have such a book planned.

I was surprised they let you take video. Good job with the soundtrack: when PA’s theme came up, I immediately felt the shivers.
