Wild & Beauty is an art book by veteran manga artist Ikegami Ryoichi, whose credits include The Crying Freeman, Sanctuary and Mai The Psychic Girl. The book features colored illustrations from his numerous mangas, as well as instructional pages on the creation of his art work.
I was hoping for an art book in a bigger format purely dedicated to Ikegami’s color illustrations, so this book is somewhat of a compromise. Fans of his art should still find this of interest, especially with the relatively low price tag.

I like how Ikegami’s characters are kind of cute but also so deadly. They have the most desirable traits for a human being, The renowned artists know how to portray it perfectly.
