Vampirella is a superheroine created by Forrest J Ackerman and comic book artist Trina Robbins in 1969 for Warren Publishing’s black-and-white horror comics magazine. 50 years later, the sexy Vampirella has gained a huge following and her stories remains ever popular.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of her creation, Dynamite publishing has assembled some of the comic world’s best talents to put together this beautiful poster art book – the list of incredible artists featured include Frank Cho, Alex Ross, Stanley “Artgerm” Lau, Adam Hughes, Joe Jusko, Joseph Michael Linsner, Joshua Middleton, J. Scott Campbell, Billy Tucci, and more.
Each poster is printed on heavy cardstock paper at 12”x16” and easily removed from the body of the book.
Enjoy these large Vampirella art prints in its original book form, or detach them to decorate your walls. I also recommend checking some other Vampirella art books like The Art of Vampirella – The Warren Years, Masters Of Spanish Comic Art, which features art work by Enrich, and also The Art Of Jose Gonzalez, who has painted some stunning images of Vampirella.
Also, one of the featured artists Stanley Lau has an art book in a similar large print poster format for his illustrations of DC superheroines/villains.
