Been rather busy and so I didn’t have the chance to post this right after it dropped, but here’s the trailer for the upcoming Spider-Noir series starring Nicholas Cage releasing on Amazon Prime Video later this spring. I was working on the VFX for this series at ILM ( Industrial Light & Magic ) Vancouver late last year.

I had alot of fun working on the series, and one of the bigger highlights for me was getting to work with Doug Smythe ( my lighting supervisor on the show ), who won the Academy Award for Best Visual Effects back in 1992 for Robert Zemeckis’ Death Becomes Her.

Incidentally, this is not the first time that I’ve worked on the Spider-Noir character; back in 2018 during the production of Spider-Man : Into The Spider-Verse I also had the opportunity to light and composit a few shots of him, and he was already voiced by Nicholas Cage as well !
