Oeuvre is the most fitting title for legendary illustrator Drew Stuzan’s gorgeous book, an expansive collection of the artist’s most iconic movie poster art, as well as commercial and personal work. At a whopping 314 pages, this is the most comprehensive Drew Struzan art book yet published.

Even if you’re unaware of the artist’s name before reading this article ( I myself did not know until I got into art school ), you must have seen his fascinating work in one form or another somewhere before. It was only after reading this book however, that I come to realize just how much work he has done.

(above) I had no idea the poster for Beauty and the Beast ( and also An American Tail, higher above ) were illustrated by Drew Struzan till I read this book. Yes, I am ashamed. (below) The last part of the book is dedicated to the artist personal work.

Most highly recommended, Drew Struzan fan or not.
