The Japanese blu-ray release of the monster film Kong : Skull Island features an explosive and impactful art work by renowned Kaiju illustrator Yuji Kaida, whose long list of credits includes countless poster art for Toho’s Godzilla and other tokusatsu films.
The cover art design is clearly a throwback to the many popular Kaiju and tokusatsu films of the 80/90s, in particular Godzilla.
