Transcendence Beautiful Coloring Book of Takumi is an art book by Japanese illustrator Takumi / Takumi_JP. The artist is highly prolific on twitter with frequent postings of his illustrations. Last year the spectacular Mad Max hierograph he illustrated quickly went viral online, earning him accolades and plenty of fans.

This is his first published art book, with the first section featuring full colored illustrations and the rest line versions of his art for coloring.

Fans of Takumi will notice that only a fairly small collection of his art work ( as compared to pieces that he shared online, including the Mad Max hierograph ) are reproduced in this book, likely because of rights issues with film IP.

It does feel like a wasted opportunity and hopefully a more extensive collection of his art will become available in another art book in the future. You can follow takumi on twitter here.
