I previously reviewed Iris Compiet’s other art book Labyrinth: Bestiary – A Definitive Guide to the Creatures of the Goblin King’s Realm and was most delighted by her beautiful, detailed illustrations, and she brings the same quality of work to this volume as well.

A most delightful read from cover to cover, and seeing all these creatures makes me want to re-visit all the Star Wars films and Disney+ series that feature them. Even if you’re not a particularly big fan of the series, this book still serves as an excellent reference book for creature design. As noted in the book title, this is just Vol 1; so I look forward to more in the near future. Recommended.
