Warning : The following post contains nudity/adult content.

The 3rd book from the Sex And Horror series ( check out my reviews for The Art of Emanuele Taglietti and The Art Of Alessandro Biffignandi ), this volume focuses on the the work of Fernando Carcupino, famed not just for his comic work but his sexy pinups as well.

Carcupino studied art under Achille Funi at the city’s Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera. In the early 1970s, he produced covers of the weekly magazine La Giraffa, as well as several Edifumetto publications including Vampirissimo, Faibe Proibite, and I Sanguina.

More sex than horror, only the last section of the book feature horror themed art work. Carcupino’s work is certainly just as beautiful as his contemporaries Emanuele Taglietti and Alessandro Biffignandi, but readers expecting to see more horror art work will be disappointed. That said, this book is still a good companion to the earlier two art books in the series I reviewed previously.

Sex and Horror: The Art of Fernando Carcupino art book details :

– Dimensions – 8.75 x 0.7 x 10.25 inches

Thanks for the review. As I prefer the work of Carcupino to the previous artists, it’s a very good news.
