Futurelog is the latest art book by famed Japanese illustrator Range Murata ( Blue Submarine, Last Exile ), and this is his 2nd art book released this year ( the other being Tara Duncan art works ) after an absence of any art book publication for 7 years.
Running at a generous 282 pages, the book contents includes illustrations he did for magazines like Robot, 138°E, covers for comics like Kairakuten, Attack On Titan art work ( image above ) and much more. There are several pieces of art work that foldout to become A3 sized mini posters.
(above & below) The front and back covers, overlayed with a frosty plastic book jacket.
Range Murata is a superbly talented illustrator/character/costume designer, and I really like his rendering style. This art book collects some of the best work he has done in the past 7 years and comes highly recommended.
Warning : Murata’s subject matter often wade into Lolicon territory, and unfortunately this book contains some of said material. I’m no fan of these illustrations and have chosen not to show any of these in my previews above. If you’re offended by such content, don’t buy this book !

zee – Amazon Japan has temporarily restricted international shipping for many items, and this is one of them. They did not specify the reason nor the lift date, but I’m checking on it periodically and will update when the restriction is lifted. Thanks !

I was lucky to get this one right before Amazon Japan went into temporary stop mode. I really love this artbook, and think it is one of those essential ones for those who like this artist, as I do. With the caveats that yonghow notes in the review above, this is a *great* artbook.
