This is a public service announcement to let readers of this blog know that the pre-orders for Vol 2 of the Animation AKIRA Layouts & Key Frames is now live. The book will be released on April 3rd May 17th.
Vol 1 ( read my review here ) was extremely popular and the first print sold out quickly during the pre-order stage, so many who wanted to get their hands on a copy had to wait until the 2nd print was ready. If you’re keen on getting a copy of Vol 2, I would highly recommend pre-ordering it now lest it is sold out again just like Vol 1.

Ahh, the timing is so unfortunate. When I finally had some spare cash to buy it, it was sold out. Now I don’t have the money for a pre-order. If I’m lucky, I may be able to get it on time, but we’ll see.
