Based on the trading card game of the same name, Force Of Will The Movie is an upcoming ommibus animated film consisting of six 15 minutes short stories.
One of the segments titled Cthulthu will be directed by Morita Shuhei ( director of Kakurenbo, Freedom and the Academy Award nominated animated short Possessions ) and character design by renowned illustrator/animator/concept designer Tatsuyuki Tanaka ( Cannabis Works / Works 2 ). Another segment titled Pinocchio will be directed by a friend of mine Kohta Morie, whom I worked with back on Freedom ( Morita Shuhei was the director ).

love Tanaka’s style. I do wish this was hand drawn though. As in Tanaka drawing his gorgeous animation on this.

martin – yes Morita Shuhei’s work has also been CG, I guess they are trying something new this time with Tanaka’s visuals.
