Hyperweapon 2016 – Paradise’s Logic Art Book Review

Hyperweapon 2016 – Paradise’s Logic is a collection of illustrations and model craft work by renowned mecha designer/illustrator Kobayashi Makoto. His long list of credits include Space Battleship Yamato, Venus Wars, Mobile Suit Z Gundam, Last Exile and many more.

This book collects models and artwork from the series “Freedom Of Flight” featured in the Scale Aviation magazines Vol 99 to 109, as well as additional material that Makoto has worked on in his free time. There are also some guest artists, including Nirazawa Yasushi ( image above ), whose art book I’ll be reviewing soon as well.

Hyperweapon 2016 - Paradise's Logic Art Book Review

A treasure trove of detailed mecha illustrations and models for fans. In comparison to Hyperweapon 2014, the ratio of illustrations to model pictures is less, but overall quality of the content remains excellent. Recommended.
